How supervision works in Dubai

  • The permit names the team. A Dubai building permit is issued with the consultant and the contractor on it. Changing either needs an updated permit before work continues.
  • Inspections come before handover. The building is inspected at the end, and the completion certificate is issued after it passes. Defects found then cost time, so we check the works at every stage.
  • Payments follow progress. Contractors are paid against certified work, so an independent check of each claim protects your budget.

How much does project management cost in Dubai?

Project management fees are quoted per project and depend on the project's size, complexity and the services you need. We send a proposal after reviewing your project.

When should a project manager start?

Ideally during design, before the tender. Pre-construction planning usually takes 4-8 weeks, and we stay involved until handover.

Can you take over a project already under way?

Yes. We start by reviewing the contracts, drawings and site, then set up the controls, reports and coordination the project needs.

Can you manage a project designed by another architect?

Yes. We work with your design team, or with our own architects if we designed the project.

What reports will I receive?

Regular progress reports with site photos, the programme against plan, payments, changes and open issues, so you can follow the project without being on site.
